Niki Club offers a variety of activities that allow guests to get the most of their natural surroundings.
Activities
Work up an invigorating sweat with sports activities in the forest, or enjoy the surrounding nature
at your leisure - how you spend your time is entirely up to you.
Tennis
Niki Club offers three tennis courts nestled in the woods. Racquets and balls are available to borrow. Open until sunset.
Birdwatching
Many species of wild bird visit or make their homes on Niki Club's grounds. Enjoy an excursion through the forest while watching the birds of Yokozawa in their natural habitat. Binoculars are available to borrow.
Cycling
Bicycles are available for cycling through the Niki Club grounds as well as the immediate vicinity. Enjoy a refreshing ride through the lush vegetation of Yokozawa.
Fishing
Trout, masu salmon, and other species of fish inhabit the clear waters of the rivers flowing through the Niki Club grounds. Fishing gear is available to borrow. Please note that fishing is forbidden between September and mid-March.
Activities at Art Biotop Nasu
Niki Club guests may also make use of services offered by Art Biotop Nasu, the neighboring art center and hotel.

Forest Concierge
The sprawling grounds of Niki Club harken back to the days when villages and towns played a central role in ecosystems known as satoyama, where human civilization and nature coexisted in a symbiotic relationship. Elements of this ecosystem still exist here at Yokozawa—and specifically Niki Club—and our Forest Concierge is your guide to them. His morning tours last an hour, giving guests plenty of time to soak in the secrets of the forests, as well as Niki Club, just in time for breakfast.Tours are offered in association with Niki Club and are available in Japanese only. Glassmaking / Ceramics Studio
Art Biotop Nasu features a ceramics studio where guests can try their hand at hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery as well as ceramic ware production, and a glassmaking studio where guests can practice a wide range of glassmaking techniques, from glass blowing and sand casting to torch work. A diverse range of workshops is also offered.
These events have been designed to make the most of Yokozawa’s dramatic seasonal changes.
